It’s sad that people are judged by how much make-up they wear. If someone wears a lot of makeup they are said to be insecure about themselves and need some way to cover their face, so they turn to makeup. They are told that wearing too much makeup is “false advertising” and harmful, yet when someone wears little makeup they are told that they need to wear more so all their blemishes will be covered. There’s no in-between.

 

Makeup is done heavily on the right side of the girls face and lightly done on the left side. People are assumed to be more individualized and unique if they wear a lot of makeup, because it makes them stand out more. Lighter makeup is done instead of no makeup to show that sometimes when people wear makeup they can still look like they aren’t, and still be different

 

People shouldn’t judge what someone is like based on the makeup they wear. People shouldn’t be classified as a “rebel” because someone told them to wear less makeup and they didn’t, or vice versa. It’s okay to just be true to yourself.
